Once you do that, the screen/options you’ll get will be based on two things:
You don’t have a
NairaBET account attached to that phone number
You already have a NairaBET account attached to that phone number
2. If you don’t have a NairaBET account attached to that phone number yet…
The screen that pops up after you dial *5447# will be the one asking you to open a
NairaBET account. And you can indeed from there open a brand new account on NairaBET.
You’ll be asked to enter your name; do that and press “Send”. Subsequent screens will ask you for your email address and preferred username.
Enter all these details, and voila, you have a fresh
NairaBET account.
This is not just a USSD account; it’s the same account you’ll use on other
NairaBET platforms, like the website and physical shops. Don’t worry, you’ll be given a password you can use to login online. And you can later change the password online if you like.
3. If you already have your phone number attached to your NairaBET account…
You’ll instead get a Welcome screen asking you what you’d like to do during that session.
This is where you can choose from the available options, like funding your nairabet account, placing a bet, making a withdrawal, or whatever action you want to take on your NairaBET account.
